【圖書館】邀請您加入112學年「深度閱讀1+1」傳統與創新的讀書會 Call for Faculty Participation in Students Reading-In-Depth Project

敬愛的老師和同學，您好！

    圖書館戮力推動「深度閱讀1+1」計畫，多年來承蒙師生們熱烈迴響，112學年第一學期我們持續誠摯邀請更多的文藻師生加入。圖書館同時邀請老師帶領以及學生自主進行讀書會；另外，為因應疫情，讀書會聚會模式仍採用「實體讀書會」、「視訊讀書會」或兩種方式混合進行。

    隨著行動科技的發達、社交網站的普及，簡短片段的資訊使得新世代的學子們慣於淺層閱讀。因此，圖書館秉持著文藻人文底蘊培養的初心，與全校師生一起尋找閱讀力，推動「深度閱讀1+1」，共同重視閱讀，希望能翻轉「淺讀」的趨勢，找回文藻師生「深層」的閱讀能力，倍增競爭力。

「深度閱讀1+1」計畫執行簡述：

1. 閱讀進行的推手：圖書館提供館內現有數位圖書、購書經費與場地等資源，由老師帶領或者由學生自主提供寶貴的時間與精力，組織讀書會，帶領小組學生或者與同學，攜手深入數位與紙本閱讀的世界，並透過研討與辯論，培養獨立思考與理性批判的能力。
2. 人與書的新連結：疫情當前，鼓勵老師或學生跳脫傳統讀書會聚會模式，改為運用線上視訊方式，舉辦「視訊讀書會」，進行閱讀分享討論，讓學習不間斷，持續深耕人文底蘊的文藻傳統。

Dear Faculty,

This is an invitation to call for your participation in a collaborative project with the Library to promote students’ reading in depth. Wenzao Library has been dedicated to promoting reading for more than a decade. Reading is considered a basic and significant literacy skill that everyone should possess. It can be seen as part of a wider process of human development and growth based on the understanding of one’s own experience and the social world. Reading the word can thus be equated with reading the world. However, with the rapid development and prevalence of the Internet and mobile technology, students tend to do skim reading on screen and lack of critical thinking. This cursory reading behavior of just skimming through the torrent of information online may cause less concentration and comprehension of a subject may suffer.

 In this collaborative project to promote reading and improve students' competitiveness for their future, the Faculty plays a key role in knowledge navigation by leading students to read and discuss a book in depth so as to develop their independent and critical thinking. For this collaborative project, the Library offers e-books and spaces and some budgets to subsidize part or all of the expenses of the printed books for purchased for the reading group.
